Hatta outdoor camping and adventure trail returns for winter season

Hit the great outdoors and enjoy the return of activities in Hatta

As we get to October it’s time to start thinking about all those great outdoorsy things you can do in the UAE.

To mark the arrival of the winter 2019/2020 season, Meraas’ outdoor adventure destination, Hatta Resorts and Wadi Hub are back in business.

The spectacular national park is reopening and you can go and explore some of the UAE’s stunning outdoor terrain and natural scenery (Hatta was declared one of the most Instagrammed spots in the world, after all) .

Opening on Tuesday October 1, you can head to Hatta and explore a whopping 32.6km hiking trail, which has a number of graded routes depending on your level.

And it’s all entirely free to enter and explore, throughout the season.

This season will see the Hatta Heritage Village being restored and developed to welcome visitors during the winter, including the old Hatta fort, the mosque and famous watchtowers.

Meanwhile, Hatta Wadi Hub has a number of paid activities including downhill mountain biking and loads more – but if you want a getaway then heading to the lodges and trailers available in Hatta is where you can really disconnect from the fast-paced world. Get right into the heart of the mountain range, with the first hotel of its kind in the region, offering hotel rooms in trailers, plus a fire pit and views of the Hatta Dam.
