When walking in Al Bateen or Yas Marina it’s hard not to daydream about having your own boat.
We can picture it now, cruising through the turquoise waters of Abu Dhabi without a care in the world as the sun beats down on our heads.

Bringing boat enthusiasts together under one roof and offering you a chance to daydream about setting sail, the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show is set to return to the city from October 16 to 19.
Tickets to the event are already on sale and start from Dhs20.
Taking place at ADNEC, the international show attracts marine enthusiasts and families to see the latest gadgets, gear and boats that are currently on the market.
The second edition of the vent promises to bring the latest in luxury yachting to the capital as well as leisure marine, fishing and water sports equipment to ADNEC’s 31,000-square-metre marina.
You can also see flying yachts, electric surfboards, house boats, power boats and catamarans on display at the show this year.
Now we’re back daydreaming about setting sail. The smell of salt in the air, the wind in our hair. Sorry we’re easily distracted.
