There is a huge Filipino community in Abu Dhabi and we love it.
We’re more than happy to dine at many of the great restaurants and there are loads of events to take part in too.
Returning to Yas Waterworld on October 4, the Kabayan Beach Fiesta will once again take over the Yas Island water park.
The festival will include live music, fun entertainment and five hours of after-dark access to all 40 of the world-class rides, slides and attractions.
But there’s more to the celebration than splashing around.
Music lovers can check out the The Filipino music village, which features sari-sari stores and cultural performances, while there’s also a karaoke beach club if you want to stretch your vocal chords.
We’re quite partial to a bit of karaoke but we’re not sure we are very good at singing.
Tickets cost Dhs55 per person, and the event will start at 6pm and finish at 11pm.
