October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and initiatives are being held all over the world to help raise awareness and funds to fight the illness.
Want to do your part? Here’s where you can make a difference.
Bawabat Al Sharq Mall has launched the #RunTheFight campaign to help raise Dhs100,000 to donate to the RAHMA Cancer Patient Care Society.
Throughout the month of October you can visit the mall and jump on a series of treadmills to walk or run to donate steps.
The more steps that are donated by the public through the treadmills on site the more money will be given to care for those in need in the UAE.
In addition free breast cancer screenings will be held in the mall Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm to 9pm to help improve public health and offer support to females in the UAE.
