One of the Abu Dhabi Road Tolls has changed location ahead of launch

Here’s what you need to know

Road tolls are set to launch in Abu Dhabi.

A trial period will run from October 15 until January 1 2020 when four tolls around the city will be activated.

The tolls, located at four main bridges connecting Abu Dhabi Island including Sheikh Zayed Bridge, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Bridge, Al Maqtaa Bridge and Mussafah Bridge.

Ahead of the launch the Department of Transport have announced that the location of the Musaffah Bridge Toll change been altered.

In a recent lecture by the Council Affairs at Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, in cooperation with the Department of Transport, officals confirmed that the Musaffah toll location would change.

The toll gate will be moved along the same street closer to the interchange of Bawabat Abu Dhabi.

Drivers with vehicles registered in Abu Dhabi will be automatically enrolled in the system and will receive a text message before the launch sharing log in details to their account.

Drivers will then be responsible for logging in and topping up their account before passing through the gates.
