Diwali will soon be celebrated around the world and there’s loads to do here in Abu Dhabi.
Celebrations are set to take place on Yas Island with the Festival of Lights at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Yas Mega Mela Festival at du Arena.
Taking place from October 31 to November 2, Yas Mega Mela Festival will feature a host of cultural performances, activities, celebrity appearances, art, theatre and food.
Celebrating Indian culture and lifestyle, the three-day celebration will feature Bollywood musical performances and celebrity appearances from singers Junaid Currimbhoy, Kanika Kapoor, and Ankit Tiwari alongside Indian culinary masters Chef Vicky Ratnani and Chef Sandeep Sreedharan.
A Taste of India event will also serve up fresh street food and Indian specialties, plus pop-up stores will sell Indian wares and designs for you to take home.
A dedicated children’s zone will also be on site to keep little ones busy with a cricket academy, competitions, classes and activities.
Diwali is all about bright colours, so each day will end with a massive fireworks display over Yas Island from 9pm.
