A top European chef is bringing a pop-up restaurant to Abu Dhabi this week

French chef Nicolas Isnard is coming to the capital

As if we didn’t have enough dining options in the capital, another pop-up restaurant is on its way here very soon.

But don’t think that we’re complaining, in fact we really feel like celebrating this one.

French chef Nicolas Isnard is visiting Bord Eau at the Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri and putting on a pop-up event for three nights only.

Taking place from Wednesday October 30 to Friday November 1, you can go along and try a six-course menu from the Michelin-starred master.

Having worked at many top-notch restaurants in France, Isnard is treating us to a selection of exceptional dishes.

Starring quality ingredients, traditional French recipes and exciting flavour combinations, the night begins with scallop tartare with apple, caviar and cauliflower followed by foie gras pho soup and tagine-style lobster and saffron.

Meat lovers will also be in their element with the wagyu beef with corn, black garlic and Burgundy truffle, while the traditional French onion soup sneaks in as a fourth course before the pre-dessert cheese selection helps wind things down (we know, why can’t every dinner have a dessert warm-up? ).

Finally, the night ends with a sweet moka dessert, and for an extra Dhs150 you can get this amazing epicurean experience with paired grape, too.

Plus, if you really can’t get enough of these amazing-sounding dishes, you can even learn how to make them yourself.

Chef Isnard will be running cookery classes throughout the event from 1pm to 4pm every afternoon, and passing on his tricks and words of wisdom.

Bon appétit.
