Soon after a socially awkward girl adopts a stray dog, she becomes convinced that the only way to save her ill grandmother is to bring her new furry friend to her aging relative. She then sets off on an epic journey across the Philppines, with only her new dog Happy (a questionable name choice, but we’ll accept it) for company. Now we agree that dogs are brilliant, but can they really cure diseases? We have our doubts. But if you’re a hardcore dog person then we’re sure you’ll love watching cute little Happy in action. Of course, the pair encounter various characters along the way, and as long as you leave any cynicism at the door, it sounds really rather sweet. We wish them the best of luck.
