Taste of Southeast Asia
Chefs from Thailand, Bali and Vietnam are visiting Asian restaurant Sontaya over the next few months and bringing with them a selection of special dishes. It’s all part of the Taste of Southeast Asia festival that runs until early next year.

MONDAY

Grape and cheese
If you haven’t had chance to check out cool new bar and restaurant LEXX yet, then this is the perfect excuse to do so. The grape and cheese deal includes all your favourite flavours from across the world, plus a great selection of breads, chutneys and crackers. Pass the brie, please.

Fresh burgers
Porters English Pub has launched a new burger menu. The refreshed list includes an American burger, a Greek patty with lamb, tzatziki and feta, and a salmon option with mustard sauce.

Steak and grape
The date-night promotion at
The Foundry includes a steak each with sides of mashed potato, grilled asparagus, onion rings and pepper sauce. There’s also a bottle of grape thrown in.

Lebanese breakfast
Dahab is now opening its doors at 9am and serving up a spread of traditional breakfast dishes including beans, hummus, jam, cheese, labneh, omelettes and vegetables.

THURSDAY

Crab season
Shipped fresh from China, Shang Palace has imported the hairy crab for a special menu.

Seafood Spectacular
The Seafood Spectacular night at Khayal is a dream for any fans of fish or shellfish. The huge selection of dishes is spread across six buffets, and you can choose to add on a soft drink or house beverage package.

Taste of India

What’s better than a good curry? While you’re pondering that question, you should check out the new Taste of India brunch at Rangoli. The Friday feast includes countless colourful Indian dishes served to the table, pool access and lots of activities for the little ones at the kids’ club.

Night brunch

The new night brunch at Hakkasan looks all kinds of cool. The first one is happening this Friday (November 1), and it will feature live performances, table service, mixed drinks and a wide selection of Chinese dishes including Peking duck with pancakes, dim sum, wagyu beef ribs, prawn toast, salt and pepper squid and more. We’re already very excited to get stuck into the dim sum.

Italian brunch
Giving you another option on the weekend, Roberto’s has launched a Friday brunch. The suave Italian restaurant is offering starters such as burrata and calamari, plus freshly baked pizzas, oysters, pasta, risotto and meat and fish for mains. For some reason we don’t think you’ll be walking away hungry.

Vegan brunch
Giving you another option for a Friday feast, the Chef’s Brunch at Giornotte has a special package on offer just for vegans. It includes plant-based kofta, hot dogs, pizza and more, plus organic grape to wash it down with.

SATURDAY

Sushi night
Teatro is now offering a super selection of Japanese delicacies every Saturday. These include 22 different types of maki rolls, nigiri and sashimi, plus hot appetisers such as yakatori, robatayaki, tempura and more.

Weekend roast
We love a roast dinner here in Abu Dhabi, and in fact the one at the OAK Room proved so popular that it is now taking place on Fridays as well. The menu includes a choice of quality meats, plus a hearty fish pie and vegetarian option.
