From the moment they step through the doors of this education and entertainment centre they are immersed in a wonderful world of make believe where they can jump from career to career earning money as they go.
So, what can your kids expect? Well, the list is endless, but we’ve picked a few highlights.
Become a KidZania citizen
First things first. In order to find a job and get to work, the little ones need to become fully functioning members of society, which means that they need to apply for a paZZport. Once they have this, they become KidZanians and can accumulate stamps that unlock lots of exclusive privileges.
Find a job
With over 100 professions to choose from, every little job-hunter will be able to find something that tickles their fancy. It can be a bit daunting, so make sure they sit down with an employment officer to discuss their options.
Tell a story
If they have a love of writing, send them in the direction of Majed – a children’s magazine – where they can write a feature story or illustrate their very own comic strip.
Solve a crime
Budding sleuths can grab their deerstalkers and their faithful sidekick Watson and begin the tricky task of finding out ‘whodunnit?’ Piece the clues together to reveal all the answers.
Fly a plane
That’s right, pilots of the future can get their wings at the aviation academy where they learn how to take off and land an aircraft on a real flight simulator! Avoid turbulence.
Save lives
What more valuable a career than one that saves lives? Surgeons, paramedics and firefighters play a pivotal role at KidZania. Get those flashing blue lights on.
Enjoy five-star success
Living in Abu Dhabi, children are aware of the value of hospitality, so they will all be naturals at learning about what it takes to be a successful hotelier, long hours included.
Learn to drive
Walking will only get them so far, so sign them up for driving lessons at the driving school where they can get their license. Much better than waiting for the bus to work!
Go to college
Further education is essential if little scholars want to get the very best jobs out there. Get a place at college and enrol on to a bachelor’s degree in your chosen field. Then head towards graduation.
Make money
Hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, and all little workers will be rewarded with a salary, which they will need to deposit in their bank account once they have opened one. They can then have access to all their hard-earned cash via any of the city’s ATMs and spend it in the on-site shop.
