Join a new walking group in Abu Dhabi

Free weekly night walks are taking place in Khalidiyah Park

We all know that regular exercise is important, particularly when you live in Abu Dhabi and Friday brunch is part of your normal weekly routine.

So Abu Dhabi Moments, the programme of exciting weekly community events, has launched a free weekly walking club to help you to get active.

The Al Bateen Active Walk Nights takes place at Khalidiyah Park every Monday between 7pm and 8pm.

The non-competitive group is designed to get the community leading a healthier and more active lifestyle.

Trainers will take you through a guided walk around the green area, before you can chill out with the post-walk wind down and meditation session.

There will also be motivational talks to help inspire you to keep active and make wise choices in your day-to-day life.

Yoga mats and water bottles will be provided, so all you need to do is turn up in comfortable clothes and enjoy unwinding after your day at work.
The event is open to all ages and all abilities too.

As part of Abu Dhabi Moments we’ve already enjoyed Al Reem Festival, a sports festival at Al Bahar, a flower market, poetry night, photography workshops an drive-in cinema, and there are more great events to come in the future.

The night walks are running every week until December 30, so you have plenty of time to join in and give it a go.

It sounds like a great way of ending 2019 on a healthy note.
Free. Mon 7pm-8pm. Khalidiyah Park, Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street, Al Khalidiyah, www.abudhabimoments.ae.
