Ready to rumble? Abu Dhabi certainly is. As you read this, a rather nasty pack of fighters are swinging at punch bags and glaring at themselves in mirrors in preparation for Abu Dhabi Fighting Championship’s round two.
The fight card has now been released, and the two big brawls will be Marco Oliveira v Neil Wain, and Thierry Soukoudjou v Shamil Abdurahimov. Insiders say 26-year-old Soukoudjou (aka The African Assassin – that should tell you all you need to know) from Cameroon has the best chance of winning the competition, but there’s no doubt it’ll be a very close call, so if you want a front row view of the inevitable mauling that will take place, get online and book your tickets.
