We’ve always been very jealous of all the students that get to study at NYU Abu Dhabi, but now that the cool university has launched its first ever Masters programmes, it looks even better than ever.
In August 2020 the educational institute on Saadiyat Island will introduce a one-year Master of Science in economics, and a two-year Master of Fine Arts in Art and Media.
The MSc in Economics will be the first to be offered in the UAE, and it will provide students with a blend of theoretical and quantitative analytical modules, covering important economic issues like market failures, behaviour, and effects of economic policy.
Meanwhile the Art and Media programme (also a first in the region), will allow students to integrate art, media, and design through creative processes that combine theory with practice.
Both programmes are designed to help support the growing industries across the region.
The start dates of the programmes are dependent on the successful application for accreditation.
