Six brilliant regular club nights in Abu Dhabi

Get ready to throw some shapes

There are loads of great places to party here in Abu Dhabi.

While we love feeling classy in chic bars and lounges and whiling away the hours on outdoor terraces at this time of year,  sometimes you just want to party.

We’re talking big beats, a packed dance floor, an electric atmosphere and some terrible dance moves (from us, obviously).

Want to let your hair down and get in on the action? Here are some of the capital’s best club nights to check out in 2020.

We’ll see you on the dance floor.

4people
Holding regular club nights in the capital, 4people bring some top DJs to get you on the dance floor. Regularly taking place at the Beach Garden at Radisson Blu Hotel and Resort, Abu Dhabi Corniche, you can listen to a mix of electronic music that sets the tone for a big night and takes you into the early hours of the morning. Recently we’ve seen the likes of  Mario Bazouri, DJ Barada and Mambolo take to the decks and we’re expecting more big names this year.
Free. Times and dates vary. Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort, Abu Dhabi Corniche, West Corniche (055 228 0404).

Boogie Box

Every month ANNEX welcomes Boogie Box for a big night of beats taking you into the wee hours. The regular club night brings local and international DJs when it takes over the Al Bateen venue and in recent months we’ve seen the likes of Asphyxia fill the dance floor alongside Boogie Box Records boss Hassan Alwan. Head to the ground floor of ANNEX and see what it’s all about for yourself the next time it’s in town.
Free. Dates and times vary. ANNEX, The Abu Dhabi EDITION, Al Bateen (02 418 2432).

Feugo
Back once again, the Feugo club nights take over Pearls Rofotop Bar every week. On Friday nights you can throw some shapes listening to the latest afrobeat music provided by DJ Slim and DJ Shock who are behind the decks. Plus with amazing views and a cool outdoor venue it’s a great place to dance into the early hours.
Free. Fri 9pm-3am. The Shangri-La Hotel, Abu Dhabi, Qaryat Al Beri, Khor Al Maqta (02 509 8555).

Homegrown UAE
It’s one of the newest and most ambitious monthly nights out in Abu Dhabi and there’s always loads to see whatever you’re into. Covering all the bases, three levels of the ANNEX host different genres to suit your mood allowing you to travel between each to find your scene. Up top the latest musicians, singers and songwriters from the UAE take to the stage, it’s all about stand up comedy in the middle and down the bottom, some of the biggest DJs in the country blast out the beats. There’s not much like this elsewhere.
Free. Times and dates vary. ANNEX, The Abu Dhabi EDITION, Al Bateen (02 418 2432).

Ritual

COYA is one of the coolest restaurants and bars in the city so it should come as no surprise that their regular club nights would be equally brilliant. Taking place in the stylish Pisco Bar & Lounge, two resident DJs are always on hand at the monthly club night to bring big beats and an Aztec-themed night so you can party South American-style. With a big dance floor and some amazing views over the city from the terrace, its one of the places to be in the capital when it comes to nights out.
Free. Times and dates vary. COYA, The Galleria Al Maryah Island (02 306 7000).

URBN
When it comes to massive club nights, MAD on Yas Island really takes some beating. The super club always manages to bring huge names throughout the year and we’re expecting more of the same in 2020. In the past we were treated to performances from the likes of Soulja Boy, Kid Ink, Fetty Wap, Tinie Tempah and many more. If you love hip-hop and urban music, keep your eyes peeled.
Free entry. Every Friday 10pm-4am. MAD on YAs Island, www.madonyasisland.com.
