The region’s largest science festival is coming back to Abu Dhabi

Expect science games, activities and workshops for kids

Listen up little Einsteins because a huge science festival is coming to Abu Dhabi at the end of January.

If you’re looking for something a little different to do with the family, this could be it.

There will be loads to do for kids and their parents at the tenth incarnation of The Abu Dhabi Science Festival, the biggest event of its kind in the region.

Expect heaps of educational activities and games with a focus on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and maths) in line with a number of school curricula at the ten-day event.

Taking place from Thursday January 30 until Saturday February 8, the festival will be held at various spots around the capital including A’l Bahar, Al Jahili Park in Al Ain and City Mall in Al Dafra.

Scientific kids will be able to take part in a number of interactive workshops as well as fun games and activities – all with science at their core, of course.

In addition, a number of cool science projects will be displayed along the Abu Dhabi Corniche.

One of the main aims of the festival is to develop and promote a culture of innovation amongst the younger generation in line with UAE Innovation Month.

Get ready for a capital Eureka moment.
