You can choose to eat in an exclusive private lounge area before the movie, or have your food delivered straight to your seat with an in-theatre waiter service. THEATRE also has reclining leather seats, plush blankets and pillows in an intimate, stylish setting – how’s that for your next date night?
Wondering what’s on the menu? Start with the salmon tataki with mustard su-miso sauce and pickled wasabi or rock shrimp with kochujang mayo and chives. Signature rolls include the “Perfect Storm” roll with shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, salmon belly, aburi and chipotle mayo.
You can also get cinema classics such as loaded nachos with pulled Korean barbeque beef, or the 24-hour short rib burger with a Pepsi barbeque glaze, kimchi oyster mushrooms, and French fries. Mains include the orange miso glazed salmon with baby bok choy, grilled lamb chop, seared seabass and more. Finish off with something sweet, like the lava cake or mochi ice cream. We’re stuffed just thinking about it.
The Akira Back menu is available in Abu Dhabi from Sunday October 10. Find it at The Galleria Al Maryah Island and Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi. It is also available in Dubai at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, and Nakheel Mall, so you have plenty of places to choose from.
The experience is also launching in Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait with launch dates to come.
