In search of a festive feast? Here’s our pick of the best

Abu Dhabi City Golf Club: The kitchen is getting all festive at Abu Dhabi City Golf Club, with a traditional four-course set menu on offer including roast turkey and all the trimmings we know and love. So best to starve yourself on Christmas Day in preparation for the epic feast awaiting you. The price of the dinner includes a celebratory glass of bubbles too.

Fairmont Bab Al Bahr: Christmas Day is one of the few occasions where you can stuff yourself silly without an ounce of guilt. Hence, the Fairmont is the perfect place to indulge on December 25 with its Monumental Brunch. Three restaurants are getting involved – Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill, award-winning Italian Frankie’s and all-day international diner Elements, from which you can select signature dishes until you’re ready to explode.

Fishmarket: If it’s a touch of class you’re after on Christmas Eve, then book a table at the superb seafood restaurant that is Fishmarket. The place is serving up a four-course lobster set menu, with unlimited grape beverages. While if you really feel like splashing out, you can go for the bubbly option, and, as it’s Christmas, you’ve got the perfect excuse to push the boat out a bit.

Hakkasan: Tired of turkey? Sick of stuffing? If you want a change from traditional Christmas dinners, why not book a table at the majestic Hakkasan? The restaurant is serving a festive gourmet Cantonese menu this month, including some of the restaurant’s signature dishes such as smoked wagyu rib eye beef. Deliciously different.
Christmas menu available throughout December, with packages ranging from Dhs300 to Dhs888 per person. 6pm-2am. Hakkasan, Emirates Palace (02 690 7999).

Hawksbill: Hawksbill is serving up a traditional Christmas day buffet a carvery station offering roasted prime rib alongside the traditional stuffed turkey. There will also be an array of other dishes, from fresh seafood to pasta, so even the pickiest eaters will be able to feast. Should you have a bottomless pit for a stomach, you can also tuck into a huge dessert choice including mince pies, Christmas pudding or traditional ginger cookies.

Hemingway’s:
Fancy Christmas dinner with a twist? Head to Hemingways for an unusual menu that includes turkey stuffed with chipolata sausage and spice baked blood orange. The atmosphere will be laid-back with entertainment by house band The Newz. And Santa has promised to drop by with a sackful of goodies for the little ones.

One to One Hotel: If you’re scratching your head about what cuisine to eat on Christmas day, you should probably book a table for One to One’s Christmas brunch deal. The hotel has involved three restaurants in its brunch, where you can fill up your plate with giant steaks from 18 OZ, Chinese treats at Wokcano and international fare at Resto. As the restaurants are stacked on top of each other, just be prepared to burn a few calories with all the stair climbing, which might make you feel less guilty about the vast mountains of food you’ll probably end up consuming.

Stills: Should you fancy doing your festive feast like they do Down Under, the Crowne Plaza Yas Island is putting on an Aussie-themed barbecue brunch by the pool serving up delicious chunks of charred meat. While for the little ones Santa Claus has promised to make an appearance.
