Register now to secure prime position for Burj Khalifa New Year’s fireworks

Dubai will ring in 2022 with a spectacular bang, but you’ll need to register ahead of time to take in the world-famous Burj Khalifa New Year’s Eve fireworks from Downtown Dubai.

The aptly named Eve of Wonders fireworks at the world’s tallest skyscraper will explode into life at midnight on Friday December 31, signalling the start of a brand-new year.

Pyrotechnics, light displays, laser shows plus the usual H20 choreography from The Dubai Fountains help make up the extravagant programme of mind-blowing visuals, and we recommend shaking a tail feather to secure a prime position.

So, how do you do that exactly?

First up, you’ll want to download the U by Emaar app.

Guests, including Emaar Boulevard residents and hotel guests, can log on and follow the straightforward steps to access all Downtown Dubai locations.

After successfully registering, you’ll receive individual QR codes that can be used to gain access to Downtown Dubai on New Year’s Eve.
