There are lots of brunch options in Abu Dhabi, meaning whether you want a party, fancy sit-down meal or blow-out buffet there’ll be something for you.
There are four fantastic options available at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers and Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort that pretty much cover all the bases.
For special occasions, the monthly brunch at White is a must. Taking place on the final Friday of every month, each edition has a different theme.
On March 27 it’s the Island Life Brunch, taking inspiration from the Caribbean – with food, music and décor reflecting the theme. If you want to let your inner Jack Sparrow out, this is the place to be, as the best dressed will win a free pass to the venue’s Easter brunch (on April 10).
Everyone at the brunch gets a free drink at the poolside after party, too. Packages start at Dhs375 and there is plenty for kids to do, too.
Back on the mainland, there are two amazing brunches on offer every Friday at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers.
From 12.30pm until 4pm Nahaam’s award-winning brunch takes place. The holder of the Best International Brunch award has an incredible atmosphere, a mouth-watering spread of food and plenty of beverage stations. There is also beach access, a brilliant band and DJ keeping the vibe going throughout the afternoon. On March 27 there is a special Cherry Blossom edition of the brunch. Packages start from Dhs390 and Dhs185 for kids aged nine to 14.
There’s also a brunch launching at the hotel’s pan-Latin venue VaKaVa with a Latin band and DJ providing the vibe.
The Venga Venga Brunch runs from 2pm to 7pm every Friday and offers a four-course set menu, with packages starting at Dhs235.
You can also head to Tori No Su, which has a new brunch taking place from 7pm until 10pm every Friday.
This restaurant offers some of the most incredible Japanese food in the capital, created by kaiseki-trained chef Ando Takashi.
During Nihon Yoru (meaning Japanese night) at Tori No Su, there is sushi and sashimi available at the counter while starters, mains and desserts will come to the table, offering the perfect mix of buffet and à la carte. Packages start at Dhs250.
