There is a massive New Year’s Eve celebration descending on Expo 2020 Dubai, and it’s bringing a new meaning to the phrase “once in a lifetime.”
The New Year’s Eve celebration at Expo 2020 Dubai will run for 13 hours (you heard us) and includes a line-up of internationally acclaimed artists. You can kickstart the New Year with fireworks, festivities and live music – all at the greatest show on earth.
As midnight approaches, there will be sound and light shows plus dazzling pyrotechnics and special effects, including a ball drop at Al Wasl Plaza. Take that, Times Square.

The line-up includes dance music kings Armin Van Buuren and Dimitri Vegas. Their set starts at 11.30pm on the Jubilee Stage. Other DJs and performers include DJ Daxx, DJ Hannah Ichiko, and Fuzzz performing at Sports Hub; DJ Jeff, DJ Tala Samman, DJ Fat Sam and DJ Khaled Mamdouh performing at Dubai Millennium Ampitheatre; and Kanika Kapoor, DJ Skip, Anyasa, and Vini Vici on the Jubilee Stage. The festivities go for 13 hours so be sure to wear your dancing shoes and be prepared to fuel up throughout the night.
Speaking of fueling up, foodies will be spoilt for choice because the Festival Garden at Jubilee Park at Expo has over 70 restaurants and 120 outlets serving up every dish you could ask for throughout the night.
