Why celebrate St. Patrick’s Day once when you can do it all week? Offside Sports Lounge at Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort is going all out to mark the Irish tradtion this year by hosting a nine-day event.
The bar is throwing an Irish-themed soirée where you can expect everything from happy hour deals to Irish quizzes. There’ll also be performances from The Boxtones, who are set to take the stage on the various dates of the event which runs from March 12 till 21.
First and foremost, the celebrations kicks off with late breakfast servings and an early happy hour (running from 11am to 4pm) on weekends (March 13, 14, 20 and 21).
On St. Patrick’s Day itself (March 17), the bar will host a huge party with an Irish band and special drinks flowing from start to finish. Those who make an extra effort and come dressed up will be in with a chance of winning a big prize.
The festivities then continue the following day as Northern Irish DJ Sonya Mac hosts an Irish-inspired quiz night, so come clued up.
There will also be a daily happy hour from 5pm to 8pm on selected beverages.
