Have a golf iftar: Saadiyat Beach Golf Club are holding iftar and suhoor throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan. Ease yourself into breaking fast with some gentle exercise and then partake of a specially prepared iftar and suhoor à la carte menu featuring traditional dishes, Ramadan beverages and dates upon arrival. Starting from Dhs45 per person and served until 10pm.

Take in an exhibition: The long hours of fasting over the weekend can be tough with nothing to distract you. Manarat Al Saadiyat is still open during Ramadan, though the hours are slightly different. Visit from 10am-2pm and then from 8.30pm-11.30pm. And even better, the Louvre Abu Dhabi’s current exhibition Birth of a Museum is being extended until August 24.

The iftar includes Arabic dishes and desserts and for suhoor you can order à la carte from its usual menu.
