Ray’s Grill hosting special event with Emirati chef Khaled Al Saadi

The four-hands dinner will include a unique six-course menu

When it comes to dining, there’s nothing more exciting than mixing flavours and sampling new dishes. It’s one of our favourite things to do, which is why we love the sound of Ray’s Grill’s new event.

The steakhouse at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers has announced a four-hands dinner with Emirati chef, Khaled Al Saadi and chef de cuisine at Ray’s Grill, Englishman Daniel Irvine.

The two have worked together to infuse their respective heritage and expertise to create a new six-course set menu for the restaurant and if it tastes anything like it sounds, we’re dying to try it.

The dinner will be served on March 18, 19 and 20 and will feature Emirati-inspired dishes cooked in a contemporary way using French cooking methods.

Al Saadi said: “This is in no way your traditional Emirati fare. Although our food is inspired by the cuisine from my home country, we’ll be using Western cooking methods and serving each course in a much more refined way. It’ll be my first time ever working with Daniel and I’m really looking forward to sharing the kitchen with him.”

Irvine says added: “The menu will showcase the high-quality food we serve at Ray’s Grill in a brand-new light. We’ll be using ingredients including tuna, lamb and locally caught fish and I am thoroughly looking forward to combining my culinary style with Khaled to create something brand new for the region.”

It’s Dhs395 per person, which includes soft drinks. SPaces are limited so if you fancy it, we recommend booking now.
