International Women’s Day may be over but female empowering is still in full force and this Thursday (March 12), Girl Talk hits Abu Dhabi.
The special event is led by female artists within the UAE and is a fun night out celebrating the many musically talented women not only in Abu Dhabi, but the entire region.
The night will be hosted at The Abu Dhabi EDITION’s popular social space ANNEX and will see five rising talents take the stage to put on a show.
Expect to see a line-up of three singer-songwriters Nadine, Shébani and Michele, and two DJs, DJ MAWW and DJ Don’t Touch My Hair (DTMH).
Expect to see their individual flair and mixed genres of music, with everything from R&B and Hip Hop vibes to 1980s classics being played.
The night starts off at the ANNEX rooftop from 9pm, where you can mingle over drinks while taking in the views of the city before heading inside to watch the girls perform a 20-minute set each from 10pm.
Entry is free and the party continues until 3.30am, so get some friends together and start off the weekend right.
