The hotel in the Hajar Mountains has launched new weekday rates, with prices on overnight stays now going from Dhs469. Sounds like a bargain to us.
The hotel’s 52 Arabic-style rooms, suites and chalet-style accommodation overlook the Hajar Mountains that the fort’s known for, while villas offer the added luxury of a private garden and Jacuzzi.
There’s plenty to do at the resort, too. For the thrill-seekers out there, there’s plenty of outdoor activities to check out, including archery, human foosball, biking pump track, a life-size ‘hu-man maze’ filled with hidden traps, spider webs, mirrors and puzzles to solve.
For the adventurers, there’s the chance to try something new, with lizard-scouting at the Green Lake, culture-seeking at Hatta Heritage Village and bee-watching at Hatta Honey Garden.
Fancy heading to the movies? There’s also a cinema-in-the-pool experience, while littles ones can check out the a shaded mini zoo with deer, goats, peacocks and even tortoises.
