Expo 2020 Dubai COVID-19 safety measures

Find out all about the precautionary measures, PCR testing and more

Expo 2020 Dubai is the world’s great show, and Expo wants to make sure attendees make memories while attending safely. Expo 2020 Dubai has precautionary COVID-19 measures and protocols for vaccinated and unvaccinated visitors as well as PCR testing and an Expo green pass on the Al Hosn app.

As the UAE shares updated COVID-19 protocols and booster requirements, Expo 2020 Dubai is ensuring visitors are updated on its COVID-19 safety measures.

Those attending Expo who are vaccinated and above 18 years old must present proof of at least one dose of any COVID-19 vaccine recognised by any Expo 2020 participating country or the World Health Organization (WHO).

Anyone who is unvaccinated and wishing to attend Expo will need to present proof of a negative PCR test conducted within 72 hours before they enter Expo 2020 Dubai.

Wondering if all Expo visitors need a PCR test? As of this writing, the current Expo 2020 COVID guidelines state that only unvaccinated visitors need to take PCR tests and provide a negative result to gain entry.

Want to get a PCR test at Expo 2020 Dubai? There is a testing facility at Expo Village and a DHA COVID-19 Testing Centre located at Expo World Parking, Zone K. The facility has drive-thru lanes and a walk-in tent and it’s open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

A standard PCR test at Expo costs Dhs150, and rapid testing is able for an additional fee.

Want to easily show your PCR test and vaccination status? Add the Expo 2020 Dubai Pass to the Al Hosn app. Then present the pass at the Expo entrance gate.

Expo 2020 Dubai visitors must also continue to follow COVID guidelines, including always wearing a face mask, unless given an exception.

There are just a few weeks left to see Expo 2020 Dubai and safely make memories. The event closes on Thursday March 31 so time is ticking to see the best Expo country pavilions and collect all those passport stamps.
