Social distancing but still yearning for an evening of live music from a top band?
Big Mouth, regular performers in bars across Abu Dhabi, will be streaming a live show via their Instagram and Facebook pages.
Given the temporary closure of live music venues, the band have taken it upon themselves to share some live music online.
They will be performing a series of short online gigs for people to enjoy during this time. That pretty much means you can boogie away in your pyjamas from the comfort of your home.
Sounds like our kind of gig.
The first one-hour live streaming show will take place on Thursday March 19 from 6pm onwards and all you have to do to “attend” is follow the band on Facebook and Instagram.
As always, the trio will be taking requests and people can send in their favourite tunes. They band have everything in their repertoire from ABBA to System of a Down and Ed Sheehan to Johnny Cash.
In September 2019, the band had a bit of a revamp and frontman and bass player Mikey Reed are Lance Woodman and Milos Milosavljevic.
The local band are hoping to make this a regular thing throughout the ongoing situation in the UAE – watch this space for more updates.
