Two new luxury hotels to open in Sharjah

There will be a waterpark in one of the new properties

Planning a staycation in Sharjah? There are two new luxury hotels from Marriott coming to Sharjah’s east coast, which means even more options for anyone looking to have a luxurious getaway in the emirate.

Marriott International will be developing two new projects: one in Kalba and the other in Khorfakkan. The new Sharjah Marriott hotel marks the debut of Marriott’s Autograph Collection in the emirate.

In Khorfakkan, the new hotel will feature a massive waterpark, while the Kalba property has direct access to the Gulf of Oman. Get your water wings ready.

The Khorfakkan hotel will be located opposite Khorfakkan port, and will include 75 deluxe units, a yacht club, residences, restaurants, gym and spa facilities. Ready for a day at the waterpark? This one promises to be mega.

Curious about the other new Sharjah hotel? The Kalba Hotel will be located across from the Kalba waterfront project and opposite the Kalba flag square. The hotel will be close to some of the emirate’s best diving locations and will feature 80 rooms, two restaurants, a gym, spa and swimming pool.

Speaking of new hotels in the UAE, Ras Al Khaimah is getting a Wynn Resorts hotel with a “gaming area”. The resort is set to open in 2026 on Marjan Island.

The RAK hotel is the first beach resort being developed by Wynn Resorts internationally.

In addition to a dedicated “gaming area”, the current plans include a 1,000 room hotel, a spa and even an upscale shopping mall.
