All Aldar malls in Abu Dhabi to close early

Yas Mall, Al Jimi Mall and more are closed

The UAE Government has urged the public to self-isolate and public spaces including beaches, pools and shopping centres will all close temporarily.

Aldar Properties has announced that they will be closing their shopping centres effective immediately.

Shopping destinations including Yas Mall, Shams Boutik, Al Jimi Mall and Remal Mall are all now closed to the public.

However, supermarkets and pharmacies will remain open and food and beverage outlets are permitted to offer home deliveries.

The decision to close shopping malls is to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The public are asked to remain home unless they need to get supplies such as food, medicine or to perform essential jobs.

The decision on reopening will be reassessed in two weeks’ time and an update will be announced.
