All Mawaqif parking in Abu Dhabi to be free for three weeks

Free parking starts on Monday March 30

UAE residents are advised to self-isolate to prevent the spread of cornovavirus.

A national disinfection programme has launched, a drive-through testing centre is set up, and a number of fines and penalties have been announced for those who violate government guidelines.

All UAE residents are advised to stay at home and only venture outdoors for food supplies, medicine or for emergencies.

For those who must go out, The Department of Municipalities and Transport have announced that Mawaqif parking fees will be suspended for three weeks from Monday March 30.

All Mawaqif parking bays will be free of charge for those out for essential supplies and who live next to Mawaqif parking lots.

The freeze on fees will be revised after three weeks and could be extended.
