Five more group working applications approved for use in the UAE

More ways to work remotely and keep in touch

The UAE telecoms regulator has announced that more distance and group learning mobile apps are being made available temporarily.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) announced that it has updated the list of applications available to use in the country in addition to the VoIP applications approved last week.

New apps available in the UAE include Google Hangouts Meet, Cisco Webex, Avaya Spaces, BlueJeans and Slack.

The applications join Skype for Business, Google Hang Out, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Blackboard that were recently made available in the UAE.

The TRA noted that it will review and update the list of available applications from time to time.
