The renewed suspension will continue from Thursday April 2 and will be for a renewable period of two weeks, in a bid to contain the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus.
Those holding valid UAE visas, and now staying abroad, have been asked by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to register in the ‘Tawajudi for Residents’ Service.
This has recently been launched through MoFAIC’s website to “facilitate their safe return to the UAE in emergency situations”.
It has just been announced that a limited number of outbound-only Emirates passenger flights will resume from Monday April 6, to destinations including London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels and Zurich. For the full story click here.
