An initial extension was introduced until April 5 and this has now been extended until further notice.
Public transport will continue to be halted and movement of traffic and the public restricted daily from 8pm until 6am in residential areas and 6pm to 6am in industrial zones and workers accommodation.

In Dubai, the Disinfection Programme is now 24 hours a day and the pubic cannot leave their homes unless it is for ‘essential purposes’.
In Abu Dhabi, the public is advised to remain at home between 8pm and 6am each day and only leaving their homes unless it is ‘absolutely necessary’ or if you work in vital sectors.
During the day public transport runs as normal, though everyone is still advised to stay at home.
