Emirates Airline announces flights to seven more destinations

All flights will go from Dubai International Airport Terminal 3

Emirates Airline has announced it is planning to run outbound passenger flights to seven more destinations. The Dubai airline will now fly to Tunis, Jakarta, Manila, Algiers, Taipei, Chicago and Kabul.

Earlier this month Emirates announced that it was putting on several outbound flights to cities including London and Frankfurt, which have already started.
The flights are to enable residents and visitors to return to their homes.

All Emirates flights will operate from Dubai International airport T3 and flights can be booked on emirates.com.

Only citizens of the destination country and those who meet the entry requirements will be allowed to board.

Emirates will operate a modified inflight service programme on these flights, with magazines unavailable. Food will continue to be served on board, but presentation will be modified to reduce contact during meal service. Emirates’ Lounge and Chauffeur Drive services will be temporarily unavailable.

Cabin baggage will not be allowed and carry on is limited to laptop, handbag, briefcase or baby items. Enhanced cleaning is also taking place.

flydubai has also announced repatriation flights to 15 destinations. For more information click here.

Last night (Sunday April 12) Etihad Airways announced it was running extra passenger flights out of the UAE.

The airline will now be flying from Abu Dhabi to Brussels, Dublin, London Heathrow, Tokyo Narita and Zurich, in addition to Amsterdam, Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore, Manila and Jakarta.

The special flights have enabled passengers stranded in the UAE due to travel restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, to reach home.
