Pearl Academy has launched an online arts week for kids in the UAE

The Aldar Education school is encouraging pupils to create their own virtual artwork

Pearl Academy has launched an online arts week for students across the UAE.

The Aldar Education school is encouraging students from schools in Dubai and Abu Dhabi to create their own virtual masterpieces and share them in an online studio.

Budding Leonardo da Vincis between three and 11 can access eight virtual art studios, each of which focuses on a different area of the creative arts; fashion and textiles, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography and Islamic art.

And don’t worry if your art supplies are running low (although you can order more online through the websites here) because the workshops have been carefully designed to use items and art equipment that would generally be available in the average household.

Once the children have completed the arty task in the workshop of their choice, they need to photograph the finished masterpieces and upload the image into an online art gallery.

Get those paintbrushes and art overalls out mums and dads and then let your mini artists creativity flow.
