Walt Disney World chefs have published a digital cookbook

When families across the UAE download the e-book a portion of the proceeds go to charity

Disney and food,  two things that hold great appeal for kids, which is why a new cookbook being launched by Disney World chefs could be of interest.

Families across the UAE can now download the Food and Friends cookbook, which is full of tasty recipes to try at home

The digital download, pulled together by Disney’s The Chef Sisters (Karista Bennett and Kristin Bryan, who is a chef at Walt Disney World), offers home cooks 12 original recipes to try in their own kitchens and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the e-book will go to charity.

The recipient of the money will be the James Beard Foundation Relief Fund for small, local restaurants in Florida.

“When our day-to-day work lives came to an abrupt halt due to the pandemic, like so many others around the globe, it hit us hard. However, I work for a company founded on the motto, ‘Dream, Believe, Dare, Do.’ And, with another one of Walt’s quotes ringing in my head, ‘The way to get started is to quit talking and start doing,’ I decided to apply the wisdom,” said Bryan, chef and co-founder at The Chef Sisters.

Bryan added: “What resulted is an exciting culinary collaboration of original recipes that we all cook for our families, placed in an easy digital format for home chefs. And we all agreed we wanted the product to help our industry so, we chose to donate 30 percent of the proceeds to the James Beard Foundation Relief Fund for small, local restaurants.”
