Looking to travel from the UAE? The Al Hosn app recently launched the Al Hosn travel pass to make travel easier for UAE citizens and residents. If you are an unvaccinated UAE citizen, there are recent changes to the Al Hosn travel pass that will make travel easier.
Unvaccinated UAE citizens can now attain green status on the travel pass by completing a disclaimer form. The new feature must be filled by travelling Emirati citizens who are: unvaccinated, have one dose of the vaccine, or did not receive the booster dose after six months.
The Al Hosn travel pass is an international certificate that provides proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status and COVID-19 test results. It is based on the EU digital COVID Certificate and is compatible with the IATA Travel Pass and EU DCC systems, making it perfect for international travel.
Wondering how to get the Al Hosn travel pass? Open the Al Hosn app on your smartphone and click “add pass” in your pass list. You then choose the vaccination or travel pass and confirm by clicking “add pass”.
If you have already downloaded the Al Hosn travel pass, you will find the certificates when you open the app and click on your name. On the screen that shows your photo and status, click the three dots at the top right side of the screen. You will see the option to “share test report” or “share vaccination certificate”.
