Restaurants in Abu Dhabi are gradually reopening with reduced hours and limited capacity.
The Department of Culture and Tourism has issued a circular stating the requirements and standards expected before establishments can reopen to the public.
The reopening is in line with national efforts to “sustain and support the tourism industry and national economic development”.
Restaurants in the capital that have already opened their doors include.
Diners and restaurants are required to adhere to strict health and safety rules, including the wearing of masks at all times.
Adults over the age of 60 and kids aged between three and 12 are not permitted to dine at restaurants, while dining time must not exceed three hours.
Restaurants must reduce the number of seats to 30 percent and a distance of two metres between tables must be kept.
