The Connor Brothers launch online exhibition exclusively for the Middle East

20 percent of the profits made will be donated to the UAE’s Community Solidarity Fund against COVID-19

In March 2020, we announced that popular British artists, The Connor Brothers, were coming to Dubai for the first time for an exclusive exhibition featuring ten special artworks from their Pulp Fiction series.

The exhibition was sadly cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak, but the celebrated artists have now launched a Middle East online exhibition.

After selling more than 300 artworks in just 30 minutes as part of a UK fundraiser for the NHS and giving away 500 prints in less than an hour to frontline workers, The Connor Brothers have created 21 brand-new commissionable prints, in both English and Arabic, exclusively for the Middle East.

Twenty percent of the profits made from the online exhibition will be donated to the UAE’s Community Solidarity Fund against COVID-19 and will go towards one of the main causes of the fund – to provide humanitarian and logistical assistance to blue collar labourers who have finished work projects in Dubai but have no financial means to return home.

Set up by the Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department in response to the fight against coronavirus, the Community Solidarity Fund aims to relieve the economic, social, and health challenges posed by the pandemic.

After rising to fame in 2012 under the pseudonym The Connor Brothers, the once-mysterious duo are now known publicly as James Golding and Mike Snelle.

The talented artists take inspiration from popular and historical culture images and their signature style is emblazoning the artwork with thought-provoking slogans such as, “I don’t care what anybody says about me as long as it isn’t true”, and “I never let the truth get in the way of a good story”.

“After our exhibition that was due to take place last month during Art Dubai got put on hold, and after the huge success that we’ve had in the UK with our involvement in the Art for Heroes campaign, it felt right to continue with our Middle Eastern exhibition plans, and create special pieces to sell in the region. We hope to raise as much money as possible to help the region’s fight against COVID-19 with these pieces which will also mark the first time we’ve created works in Arabic.” said James Golding, one half of The Connor Brothers duo.
Prices vary per piece and you can view the online exhibition by clicking here.
