A new Gatsby-themed brunch is set to launch at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers this week, and it looks like a roaring good time.
Held for the first time this Friday (May 27), visitors to Ray’s Bar will be transported back to the 1920s between 5pm and 9pm.
In true Fitzgerald fashion, this evening brunch is all about live music, free-flowing food and drinks, and the best of 1922.
Got a flapper dress hiding in the cupboard? You can book your spot now, with house beverages priced at Dhs379, sparkling at Dhs479 and Dhs679 for bubbly.

Nibbles will be served straight to your table, with a menu of unlimited hot and cold appetisers, plus desserts.
Up first, the cold appetisers include a baby shrimp cocktail, pear and English stilton with walnuts and deviled eggs. Ooh, la la.
The hot appetisers include short rib mac and cheese with slow cooked beef, parmesan cheese and black truffle; fish and chips with mushy peas; roasted angus beef in a mini Yorkshire pudding and chick pea and spiced potato puri.
Ready for dessert? There’s traditional English trifle, British bread and butter pudding, lemon tartlets, custard and strawberry madelines to tuck into.
You can also sample unlimited signature mixed drinks from the all-time classics menu while you chow. There’s coffee and soft drinks, too.
There are loads of new brunches in the capital to choose from. But if you want to feel like you’ve been transported back to the roaring ’20s, Ray’s Bar at the swish Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers is where it’s at.
