UAE’s Washmen launches donation initiative for Ramadan 2020

Collecting donations across Dubai and Abu Dhabi completely for free

Been keeping up all those home workouts and now find clothes a little loose? Or, recently went on a shopping spree online and now have one too many shirts?

Don’t fret, as Washmen UAE knows exactly what to do with them.

The mobile-based laundry and dry-cleaning service has launched a donation initiative for Ramadan 2020, in partnership with Comfort and Emirates Red Crescent, to help those in need.

Taking place throughout the month of Ramadan, Washmen will be collecting donations across Dubai and Abu Dhabi at residents homes, completely free of charge.

So, how to donate? Fill a laundry bag with all the clothes you’re not using anymore and mark it by writing ‘donation’ on it, or by placing a recycling sticker on it.

After that, schedule it to be picked up through the Washmen app or via www.washmen.com, and presto, those clothes will be put to good use Emirates Red Crescent.

Before being donated, clothes will be cleaned using Comfort, just to make sure they’re all fresh before being shipped off.

The donations initiative will be going on throughout Ramadan, and the free delivery service will be available across various locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
