A Ramadan gaming challenge is taking place to raise money for Covid-19 relief in the UAE

The virtual tournament will raise funds to support the Together We Are Good programme

An online football gaming tournament to raise money for COVID-19 relief in the UAE has kicked off.

The event, which is raising money for the Together We Are Good programme, will take place over the course of three days and will see UAE-based gamers compete to win a range of top prizes.

The tournament will include 32 players taking on one another in a virtual football game and anyone interested in taking part is welcome to register for an opportunity to participate, while others cane tune in to watch the games.

To make it extra special, 10 players will get the chance to go head-to-head with some of the top Arabian Gulf League players during final stage of the tournament.

There’ll even be a professional English commentator talking you through the games with every action being analysed just like a real life sporting match. If you prefer it in Arabic, you have the option of tuning into the UAE Pro League Twitch Channel powered by Empire play.

The tournament is available to watch via a dedicated twofour54 Twitch channel until May 20, with both players and those tuning in encouraged to support the initiative by donating to the course.
