Lace up your football boots, sneakers or running shoes because there’s a massive sports event coming to Abu Dhabi this summer: Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2022.
Abu Dhabi Summer Sports is arriving at Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) and is the biggest event of its kind in the Middle East. Are you ready to work up a sweat?
The event is being held in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Sports Council and is designed to motivate Abu Dhabi residents to follow a healthy lifestyle. It promises to be the perfect event if you’re looking to stay active in a blissfully air conditioned environment during the summer.

Abu Dhabi Summer Sports will be held at ADNEC from Friday July 1 to Wednesday August 31 in Halls 8 to 12. The event spans 27,000 square metres and includes more than 25 indoor tracks and fields. There will also be events for individuals, families and sports fans.
Head there to make use of one of the three football fields, two five-a-side football fields, eight mini tennis courts, three basketball courts, three badminton courts and three volleyball courts. There’s also a cricket pitch and CrossFit track plus a kilometre long running track.
Abu Dhabi Summer Sports will be open daily from 8am to 1am and will include specialised sports challenges, food trucks and a retail area, too. If you enjoy walking, there’s also a dedicated one-kilometre track.
