A free virtual concert will broadcast in the UAE for Eid al-Fitr

See regional artists perform

Eid al-Fitr is almost here and celebrations will take place across the UAE, albeit a little differently from normal.

Staying at home this Eid? Well, you can celebrate the occasion from the comfort of home with live performances from some of the region’s most celebrated artists.

Flash Entertainment, in partnership with twofour54, has announced a live concert will be broadcast on Monday May 25 to mark the special occasion.

Flash Live: Eid Celebrations will be broadcast live on the Flash website, Facebook and YouTube cannels from 9pm in the UAE.

On the bill, under the theme Better Together, you can see a range of artists including Layla Kadran, Yasalam Emerging Talent Competition winners FAFA and Danny Aridi, singer Moh Flow x A’y, Emirati soul singer Abri and rapper Freek.

Kris Fade will also be on hand to host the celebration and connect people across the country during Eid celebrations.

Virtual concertgoers will also be asked to contribute to Ma’an’s Together We Are Good programme if they can, to help provide support for the UAE’s essential workers.

“At Flash Entertainment, bringing people together through music and entertainment has always been at the heart of what we do,” said John Lickrish, CEO of Flash Entertainment.

“Just because people are apart, it does not mean the music has to stop.

“Created together with our partner twofour54, the ‘Flash Live’ series is the first step towards making virtual shows under strict social distancing restrictions for people to enjoy live entertainment from their homes.

“The free virtual Eid Celebrations concert shines a light on the UAE’s incredible creative community, including leading musicians, creative producers and filmmakers, uniting the UAE and GCC together through music, strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as innovators in event industry during the COVID-19 pandemic”.
