Abu Dhabi announces reopening of attractions, hotel beaches and restaurants

A number of restrictions have been eased 

Abu Dhabi has eased a number of restrictions.

From June 1, hotel beaches, museums and restaurants outside malls are permitted to reopen to a total capacity of 40 percent.

All museums, hotel beaches and restaurants must meet the requirements previously announced by the Department of Health and must receive approvals before reopening.

In addition, malls will also be permitted to increase the maximum capacity to 40 percent from 30 percent. However those under the age of 12 and over 60 will not be allowed entry.

A number of sporting activities will also be permitted in the emirate including horse riding, track cycling, cricket, athletics, golf, tennis and sailing.

Those permitted to participate in sports must be between the ages of 12 and 60.

Public beaches, parks and other attractions will remain closed until further notice.

Recently the timings of the National Sterilisation Programme in Abu Dhabi have also changed to 10pm to 6am each day.
