In an official announcement on Air Arabia’s website, it was announced that the airline has laid on more than 200 additional flights to service the increased demand on the route during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

These additional flights will follow the course of the current flight path and will run between Sharjah International Airport and Hamad International Airport in Doha. These flights are set to begin on Monday, November 21 2022.

The low-cost airline will be increasing the current daily run of three flights between Doha and Sharjah, to fourteen flights a day. These flights will run for the entirety of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, with the final flight being the day of the last match, Sunday December 18 of this year.

Similar to other airlines running shuttle flights throughout the duration of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, these shuttle flights are only available to ticket holders. Passengers on these shuttle flights will be entitled to take 10kg of hand-luggage.

These shuttle flights are now available to book via Air Arabia’s website.

Prices start at approximately Dhs525 each way.

All ticket holders will need a Hayya Card, which will also give them free transportation to and from stadiums on the Doha metro, directly from Hamad International Airport.

All customers using these shuttle flights to attend matches in Doha are urged to plan in advance and take into account arriving into the city at least four hours before the match and departing four hours post-match.
