FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tickets are back on sale next week

This batch of tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis

With less than five months to go until the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 kick off, more tickets are being released next week to fans of the beautiful game.

After the announcement last week that more than 1.2 million tickets had already been sold for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, more tickets are set to go on sale next week.

As we now know, all 32 teams that have progressed to the tournament and things are starting to heat up.

It is likely to be the last large batch of tickets available to the tournament as the website does say that that these are the ‘remaining’ tickets.

These FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tickets will go on sale on Tuesday July 5 at 11am CET and 12pm in Doha. These will be available to purchase via FIFA.com/tickets

This could potentially be the final opportunity to purchase tickets and experience one of the greatest sporting events in the world.

To anyone looking to make a purchase this coming Tuesday, you will need to be quick – these tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis. This means that fans will have to select their ticket, immediately confirm their selection and proceed directly to the purchasing page.

Massive world-wide interest is expected for this (potentially) final drop of tickets. Although the sales period continue on until August 16, any fans hoping to get their hands on specific tickets or categories are being encouraged not to delay purchasing as they may be disappointed.

Qatar 2022 preview

It’s safe to say that these tickets will be in hot demand, so make sure to have the credit card at the ready and the phone or laptop fully charged.

Fans will be able to purchase up to six tickets per match, and up to 60 tickets for the duration of the entire tournament. In this batch, fans will be able to purchase tickets across all four ticket categories, however category four tickets are reserved for Qatar residents only.

The government and FIFA World Cup officials are encouraging football fans to plan their trip to Doha well in advance of the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in November.

Many airlines have laid on additional flights and shuttle flights to help those travelling to Doha for the matches.
