Abu Dhabi hotel beaches prepare to reopen to the public

Resort beaches are making preparations

Hotel beaches in Abu Dhabi are now able to reopen after receiving guidelines from the Supreme Council for National Security and the Abu Dhabi Department of Health.

The private beaches will be able to open and allow up to 40 percent capacity.

Public beaches across the capital will remain close until further notice.

Before opening, hotels must meet safety requirements from the Department of Health and apply for approval before receiving guests.

Each property must meet requirements before it can launch but many are expected to be available to the public in the coming days and weeks.

Strict social distancing measures will also be in effect to ensure the health and safety of all visitors and guests.
