Popular spots for casual (free!) play
Anywhere with lots of wide open space can be turned into a makeshift cricket pitch. Check out the large expanse of grass on the Eastern Corniche near 19th Street, while Khalifa Park’s open spaces make for a great game too. Popular with some residents, Mussafah’s wide open (albeit dusty) lots are used for regular games. During dusk hours, car parks next to Park Rotana seem to have their own amateur leagues going on.
