La Cantine du Faubourg has just opened a new branch in Mykonos

Taking with it French fare and its famous stylish ambience

By way of Dubai, La Cantine du Faubourg is opening its next destination in the chic isle of Mykonos.

The global expansion comes after the Parisian restaurant garnered serious acclaim in the Middle East.

Much like its Dubai destination, the brand’s Mykonos venue will serve up a French-inspired menu in a glamourous setting.

A team of 20 chefs, headed up by chef Gilles Bosquet will cook up plates that the restaurant has become famed for including their yellowfin tuna ceviche with sesame avocado. Along with a host of new dishes that pay homage to Greece. Highlights from the new menu include caviar and lemon tagliolini and a lobster salad with melon.

Popular with style-concerned diners, the brand has become synonymous with luxury in Dubai. A thread it clearly hopes to sew into its Mykonos destination too.

Those who dine in their newest Greek location will see the restaurant – which is fully outdoors – has drawn inspiration from its Cycladic postcode with its interiors. Though keeping La Cantine’s identity alive in the new property, there is a definite Greek feel. Think stone walls and olive trees dotted with paper lanterns.

Seating 250 people over 1,300 square metres, we’re expecting this eatery to follow the vogueish suit of its Dubai location, and become one of the isle’s most popular dining destinations.

So it looks like a holiday to Mykonos is on the cards this summer after all…
